Beth Goudie

Musical Director / Vocal Impact Youth Choir

Beth is Dorset based singer-songwriter and performance coach. Born in the Rhondda Valleys in South Wales and spending part of her childhood in Tanzania, East Africa, she grew up in a home filled with music.

As a teenager in Wales, Beth found her inspirations at a young age in songwriters such as Leonard Cohen, Rufus Wainwright and Joni Mitchell. Finding her passion for telling stories through song, she began writing and made her debut performance at 16. She spent the following years writing, recording and performing across the UK, including being selected as BBC Wales Artist of the week.

After moving to Dorset in 2015, Beth released two new EPs ‘The Boat’ and ‘Wilderness’, ahead of her album ‘Live at the Beacon Cafe’, recorded with her band and a live audience.

Throughout her career, Beth has always had a passion for developing young aspiring musicians. Through her coaching business, she has worked for over 10 years with young singers, songwriters and musicians, with a focus on equipping them for a career in the music industry, and a fulfilled life as a musician.

We are confident that Vocal Impact is in good hands with Beth as our Musical Director.
